Installation and adjustment of safety valve of three lobe roots blower
The safety valve will be used in the process of using the three lobe roots blower. The safety valve is normally closed under the action of external force. When the pressure in the equipment or pipeline rises beyond the specified value, it is a special valve to prevent the medium pressure in the pipeline or equipment from exceeding the specified value by discharging gas outside the system. For the users of Roots blower, how to correctly adjust the safety valve is very important. Here are the adjustment methods of the safety valve of three lobe roots blower:
(1) First of all, the three lobe roots blower should ensure that the model of the selected safety valve is suitable for the equipment, so as to ensure the normal operation in the later stage.
(2) Start the three lobe roots blower, while observing the pressure gauge, tighten the gate valve to make the pressure exceed about 10% of the set pressure.
(3) Then loosen the lock nut and rotate the adjusting rod counterclockwise until the air is discharged from the safety valve.
(4) In the process of tightening the gate valve, if the set pressure of the blower has not been reached and the safety valve has discharged the air, rotate the regulating rod clockwise again until the air is no longer discharged, and then rotate the regulating rod counterclockwise until the air is just discharged.
(5) Tighten the lock nut and the adjusting nut.
(6) Then loosen the gate valve.
